Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Mersal is a high anticipated film which is expected to cross the box office records. Vijay’s popularity among the Malayalam film audience is a great one which does not gets for any other stars in other languages. This Diwali Vijay’s Mersal will have to compete with the Superstar Mohanlal’s Villain which will be releasing in this Diwali. Mohanlal’s Villain is a much awaited film in this year where he plays a leading role as a retired cop. While saying about the film Villain, it is a crime thriller which mainly focuses on some investigations. The film is been directed by the famous director B Unnikrishnan. Mohanlal and B Unnikrishnan combo had created films which has marked high collections in the box office.
Reports from the film industry says that Villain will be releasing on October 18 and Mersal will be releasing on October 19. Mersal is been directed by Atlee. Along with Vijay the other cast are Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Sathyaraj, S J Suryah, Vadivelu etc. Villain also includes cast as actors Vishal, Srikanth and Raashi Khanna. Manju Warrier performs the female leading role. The trailer of Villain has give a huge expectation to the audience. The crew of the film says that the expectation that has been given to the audience will be right in this film.
This Diwali the audience will find a tough judgement to find out which one is the most entertaining film. For these two films it will be a tight competition.
